Past experience from Naughty Dog is that those cut-scenes are used by in-game models, so it's a good chance that they will look nearly like that all the time through out the game.

Case in point (for me anyway) was Bayonetta, the story was so stupid I couldn't finish it regardless how awesome the gameplay was. Perhaps one day I'll finish it.
